Scottish landscape, untitled oil painting

This signed image shows the rear view of a group of white cottages with a church tower beyond. There are two people in the foreground and mountains in the distance. The location is not known, although it may be near Kirkcudbright. This painting was among items discovered during renovation of Jeffs home studio, the Yellow Door, High Street, Kirkcudbright in the 1990s. In 1989, when the property was sold, his family presented a large archive to Dumfries Museum.
