The Harbour, St Ives, Cornwall

This signed image shows a sailing ship and boats in a harbour with houses on the hillside beyond. There is a lighthouse on the left. It was mounted and framed in a thin wooden frame by Jeffs. This is the first watercolour Jeffs ever sold. The inscription on the reverse of the image reads: THIS IS THE FIRST WATER-COLOUR I EVER SOLD JEFFS DEC, 10th 39 Would you believe it!!
