Scottish landscape, untitled watercolour (2)

This unsigned image shows a white cottage with a tree and lane in the foreground. The sea is visible in the distance. The location is not known, although it may be the shore near Kirkcudbright, or on the Isle of Arran. This painting was among items discovered during renovation of Jeffs home studio, the Yellow Door, High Street, Kirkcudbright in the 1990s. In 1989, when the property was sold, his family presented a large archive to Dumfries Museum.
