Portrait of a man, unidentified drawing

Signed head and shoulder portrait of a male wearing circular spectacles. The identity of the man is not known but it was undertaken when Jeffs was working as an artist in Dumfries. This charcoal drawing was among items discovered during renovation of Jeffs home studio, the Yellow Door, High Street, Kirkcudbright in the 1990s. In 1989, when the property was sold, his family presented a large archive to Dumfries Museum.
