Pointed oval or vessica seal matrix (1)

Lead seal matrix with an ecclesiastical figure in the centre and inscription around the edge.   This lead matrix would have been pressed into warm wax to leave an impression on the surface. The wax seal was attached to a document to prove that it was authentic.
