Heraldic pendant

This heraldic pendant was allocated to the Stewartry Museum by the Treasure Trove Advisory Panel in 1999.  It was found using a metal detector by the Rev David Bartholomew, minister of Dalry parish, Kirkcudbrightshire.   Shield shaped pendant with a hanging loop on the top edge, and bearing a 'lion rampant' heraldic design in reddish brown enamel.
