Cross shaft, Closeburn Minster

Carved shaft of grey sandstone decorated on all four sides.   This cross shaft is of local late-Anglican style.  One side is decorated with a boar, a horse, and a bird catching fish.  The other side shows a scene of Gunnar in the snakepit, an angel with a halo, and a stag with a sun motif on its back.
