Pair of Gauntlets
A gauntlet is a variety of glove, particularly one
having been constructed of hardened leather or metal plates which
would protect the hands and wrists of the wearer in combat. This
pair of gauntlets are part of a half suit of half armour created in
Austria during the late 16th century.
