Hauberk
This hauberk, or as it is more commonly known chainmail tunic,
is made from large flat steel links which in alternate rows are
riveted and welded together creating a protective mesh over the
wearers' body. Mail began to be used less with the advent of
firearms in battle because. paired with their heaviness, mail was
no use against the damage a bullet could inflict.
