Warhammer

This type of staff weapon is known as a 'Luzernerhammer', and is a type of poleaxe.  It has a head which consists of a four pointed hammer head of square section and a sharp drooping beak.  It also has a long square sectioned top spike.  Poleaxes were particularly deadly weapons which had staff lengths that varied from about four to six feet.  Most combined an axe with a hammer with a spike on top.  In this type however the axeblade has beed substituted for an armour-piercing beak.
