Glass bangle, Barhobble

Barhobble, Mochrum
A fragment of a blue/green glass bangle with an applied band of blue glass and yellow enamel.  Items like this were produced by local craftsmen.   The bead was found in a grave during the excavation of an early Medieval cemetery.  It may have been placed in the grave as a token or talisman.
