Vegetable chopper

Food preparation was labour intensive during the Victorian period as all foods were unprocessed and had to be prepared daily. This chopper was manufactured by Joseph Tyzack and Sons in Sheffield. The blade and shaft are made from metal and steel, with a wooden handle. The blade is used for chopping vegetables.
