Toddy Ladle (1)

A short wooden toddy ladle with a deep bowl.   Toddy is a mixture of whisky, hot water, honey or sugar, spices such as cinnamon and cloves, and lemond juice. People usually drank toddy when they were relazing in the evening, or after they had been out in bad weather. The following ladles would have been used to serve this spirit based drink.
