Potato ricer

Food preparation was labour intensive during the Victorian period as all foods were unprocessed and had to be prepared daily.   This potato ricer or vegetable masher is made of steel with cast aluminium alloy handles. The hinged upper levering handle with the panel is for pressing potatoes or vegetables through the holes.
