Pastry fluter
Food preparation was labour intensive during the Victorian
period as all foods were unprocessed and had to be prepared
daily.
This tool would have been used to create a decorative scalloped
edge on pastry. This pastry fluter is made of brass and has a wheel
at one end and a semi-circular fluted cutter at the other.
