Corkscrew
This corkscrew was manufactured by Heeley and Sons
Limited, 1900 - 1910.
The original British Patent No. 6006 was granted to
Neville Smith Heeley, Birmingham, England, on 23 April
1888.
This corkscrew was manufactured in both copper paint and
nickel plated models well into the 20th century. It is finished
with enamel and gilt, is of levering construction, and has a
central twisting mechanism with a levered shoulder on either
side.
