Tea bowls, whisk and tea
This chawan (tea bowl) is decorated with flowers and is
inscribed 'Ninsei' underneath. Ninsei was the pseudonym of
Nonomura Seisuke (active 1646−1677), a Japanese potter in
Kyoto. He is famous for the high quality and refinement of
his tea ceremony wares.
