Japanese Zunari Kabuto Helmet
The Zunari kabuto helmet is constructed from a simple design of
four iron metal plates with a five-plate neck protectors (Shikoro),
deep red cords (shinobi-no-o) in order to fasten the helmet.
The Zunari kabuto style has been in demand since the
16th century until the 19th century due to
the lightweight material simple construction whilst also offering a
good amount of protection to the wearer.
