Ground stone tool, Luce Sands

Luce Sands, Genoch, Dunragit
A splayed rectangular cobble with rounded edges and flat faces.  Batter marks at both ends and an area of pounding at one end.  One end has been ground and striations can be seen running along the tool's axis.   This is a multi-functional tool which was used for hammering and grinding.  It is probably Neolithic but earlier and later dates are possible.
