Flint flake, Stranraer
Stranraer
Large flake of grey flint. There are wear marks along both
edges - this suggests the flake has been used as a simple
knife. It is hard to date objects like this but its large
size indicates a Neolithic date.
Found in a garden at Ladies Walk, Stranraer.
