Galdenoch, Stoneykirk
A complete flint axe with a convex blade and a tapered, rounded butt.  The blade and body have been polished.   Large flint axes like this are uncommon in Dumfries and Galloway.  This example may have been made in Northern Ireland and taken to Wigtownshire as part of a system of exchange and trade.
