Carved slab, Whithorn
Whithorn Golf Course
A broken sandstone slab with a spiral pecked on one face and two
oval-type shapes roughly pecked on the other face.
Slabs like this with decoration on both faces may have been used
- or re-used - as covers on burial cists.
The slab is on loan to Stranraer Museum from Historic
Scotland.
