Roman coin, Drumdoch (Gordian)

Drumdoch, Inch, Stranraer
A bronze coin known as a Sesterius of the Emperor Gordian III (AD238-244).   Another Roman coin - Tiberius (AD14-37) was found at the same site.  It is not known if these coins were lost during the Roman period or are souvenirs brought to Wigtownshire in more recent times by collectors and travellers.
