Worked Antler

Pieces of roughly worked antler. the slotted and holed pieces are probably rough handles for tools.   One antler tine has had the surface runnels removed by a knife, and the ends trimmed and sawn, as if in preparation for use as a handle, but was never completed.   The excavations at Whithorn revelaed a number of antler workshops, dating from the 10th to 12th centuries.
