Hubcaps, The Drummond, Dumfries Iron Works, Pleasance, Annan Road, Dumfries, 1905

Originally known as McKinnels, this was the largest foundry in Dumfries.  It ceased trading in 1893, and the site was bought by Peter Drummond.  Ten years later Drummond was manufacturing cars and car engines, and in 1906 the firm became a public company and was renamed the North British Motor Manufacturing Company.
