Photograph of the Fenwick Motor
Black and white photograph of the Fenwick Motor, which was the
first passenger vehicle to run in Ayrshire. The Fenwick Motor made
stops between Fenwick and Kilmarnock c. 1909 and was owned and ran
by Mr. Johnstone, a farmer from Harelaw Farm in Fenwick. The
vehicle was produced by Star Motor Company, a car and commercial
vehicle company that made cars between 1898 and 1932.
