Stone calme for tokens of Quarrelwood Congregation, Kirkmahoe, 1780

  The front of the token would read "R.P 1780" for Reformed Presbyterian. The back would read "L.S. I. Cor. XI.23". This refers to the Lord's Supper in the First Letter of St Paul to the Corinthians chapter 11, verse 23. "For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread."
