Sandhead Creamery milk bottle cap
J & M Bells, originally a farm dairy, purchased Sandhead Creamery in the early 1970s for the production of pasteurised milk. These foil caps or bottle tops were used to seal the glass bottles. This example was used on a one pint bottle containing full cream Jersey milk. Those used for semi-skimmed milk had two red stripes.
