Into the Archives: Dinosaurs of China, The Dick Institute, 1993
After a revamp in 1992/93 the Dick Institute was able to play host
to larger and more exciting exhibitions such as 'Dinosaurs from
China' which saw its North Museum taken over by Prehistoric
creatures including the 8 metre tall Tsintaosaurus
and the flesh-eating Gasosaurus! This exhibition had the
public queued around the building for several weeks, cementing the
Dick's reputation as one of the major museum venues outside of
Glasgow and the Capital.
Dinosaurs from China was organised in collaboration with The
Yorkshire Museum.
We hope you enjoy this blast from the past!
