This Spanish left hand dagger has features a broad knuckleguard that curves upwards towards the fig-shaped pommel to give the guard a triangular outline. The knuckleguard is largely unadorned, barring a filligree frill around its edge. The hilt has a wire-wrapped grip and a spiral enveloping its quillons. The front of the ricasso is decorated with a hammered triangular design, with its back featuring an indent with stars and circles chiselled into the metal. One side of the blade has grooves up to its mid-point, leading to a sharpened blade, while the other side of the blade is straight along its full length.
