This left hand dagger with a silver-encrusted brass hilt is a piece that would have adorned the side of a gentlemen as a fine-looking personal trinket while also serving as personal defence when required. The dagger has a finely detailed floral design in low relief on its pommel, crossguard and fingerloop. The stiff, straight blade possesses a ricasso at its base.
