Mark Farm, Castle Kennedy

Mark Farm lies south east of Castle Kennedy village.  Like much of the low lying ground near Stranraer this is rich, well drained agricultural country and has been farmed for thousands of years.   The Mark Farm area was visited by Rev R.G.S. Anderson on a number of occasions during the 1930s.  He collected hundreds of prehistoric flints from the site.
