Piece of Socketed Wood
It is not known what the holes cut into this piece of wood were
for, perhaps some sort of basket or wicker cage, given the
sloping angle of the holes and the fact that they go all the way
round. It is a fine example of a rare surviving wooden
artifact from the Iron Age.
