Accessory vessel, Cairnderry

Cairnderry chambered tomb
A small, irregularly-shaped pot.  Above the base are four narrow perforations - they may have been used to suspend the pot.   This pot was found in a pit together with a collared urn (see SMAH 019), a battle-axe (see SMAH 020) and a human cremation.  The pit had been dug against the outer edge of the chambered tomb.    The site was excavated between 2002 and 2004.
