Artefacts

The Dumfriesshire and Galloway Natural History and Antiquarian Society have during the course of their history had a close and enduring relationship with Dumfries Museum. The museum has become a central repository for many of the objects found and interpreted by the DGNHAS in their journal Transactions which was first established in the 1860s. Many of the objects can currently be viewed at the museum.
