Collectors & Explorers
Without the knowledge, endeavour and, in some cases, exceptional
bravery of explorers and collectors the museums and academic
institutes of the world would be not be able to offer the immense
wealth in information and exhibits that people have access to
today. The museum collections of the south-west of Scotland have
been blessed by the contributions and patronage of many such
individuals.
