A first edition copy of ‘Narrative of a Second Voyage in Search of the North West Passage’ written by Sir John Ross CB, KSA, KCS, Captain in the Royal Navy.  His recordings were made during the 1818 expedition to the Arctic region.   The book is illustrated with 30 engraved and lithographed plates, charts and plans and also includes the reports of Ross’s nephew, Captain James Clark Ross, RN, FRS, FLS and the discovery of the Northern Magnetic Pole.
