Stone Axe, Kirkcolm

Wigtownshire
A massive  stone axe made on a granite cobble.  The body has been pecked to shape and the blade has been ground to create a sharp cutting edge.     The exact find spot is unknown.   The axe could have been discovered in Kirkcolm parish or near Kirkcolm village.
