Horn from Barnsallie Crannog
Barnsallie, Old Luce
This horn from a small cow was found on the crannog at
Barnsallie near Whitefield Loch, Glenluce.
The object formed part of the collection of the Reverend R G S
Anderson, the Wigtownshire antiquarian and archaeologist.
The crannog at Barnsallie was discovered when the loch was
drained in 1831. No trace of the loch survives today.
