Stone axe, Wigtownshire (2)

Wigtownshire
A small polished stone axe with a narrow, pointed butt.   This axe was made at the Neolithic stone axe quarry at Tievebulliagh in Northern Ireland and is one of only a small number of Irish axes found in south-west Scotland.  It is unfortunate that we do not have any information on where it was discovered.
