Ladies sample combinations
Stamped 'sample', these ladies combinations would have belonged to a sales agent or costumier.
They are made of pure white cotton with decorative additions of silk ribbon and lace. The combination of a chemise and drawers in one garment was a favourite choice of underwear for Victorian women.
