Wooden-soled shoe
Wooden-soled shoe that was found in Cairn's Fishmonger's loft,
Cheapside, Kilmarnock, prior to the demolition. This is now around
where Bank St is in the town. The shoe has a leather upper with
metal hook clasp, and a wooden sole with a metal 'rail' around the
edge to make the shoe more durable.
