Ladies dress cuffs

The embroidered cuff addd decoration to a plain dress.  The cuff could be easily removed and replaced with another design.  It could be worn as a match to a collar of the same design.  Lace, muslin and net decorations were popular fashion accessories throughout the nineteenth century.
