Blue beaded dress, 1920s

The dress is of muslin and covered with bugle and tambour beads, coloured silver, gold and mother-of-pearl. The bodice is cream and the skirt blue. Some of the beads are missing.   This Charleston style dress is covered with bugle and tambour beads (silver, gold, mother-of-pearl). The cream bodice has a scalloped edge. The blue skirt and the bodice have a scalloped pattern with gold and silver scroll design with silver beads.   This dress belonged to the donor's mother and was worn by her in the 1920's on social occasions.
