Military Cap - 54th Sikhs

This cap was worn by Captain C B Anderson of Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire, when he was in the 54th Sikh Regiment.   Charles Beattie Anderson was born in Annan in 1891. After serving with the 5th KOSB in Egypt and France, Anderson joined the 2/54th Sikhs in India and was promoted to Captain in 1918.  He served on the North West Frontier.
