Watsons, MacMillans & Marshalls

During the summer months many of the Traveller families met up at a series of traditional camp sites. Parliament Knowe above Kirroughtree was the favoured site at Newton Stewart. There were others at Glenluce, Creetown and The Doon, Kirkcudbright. Hightae, close to Dumfries, was another traditional meeting place. This view shows members of the Watson, MacMillan and Marshall families.
