The Plunderer
Helen Flockhart is from Stewarton, Ayrshire and was a student at
Kilmarnock Academy and Glasgow School of Art.
She has developed her own distinctive style of figurative
painting which is not about photographic realism, but
rather is more concerned with developing a language of visual
symbolism. Her work can be disquieting but also often has a touch
of humour.
