Barrel churn

This four quart capacity, hand operated churn was used to process milk into butter at the farm dairy.  The barrel is made of oak, on two flat feet.  It has a rectangular lid on top, and a cross-shaped dasher or paddle inside.  The stencilled inscription reads "Albert Cylinder, churn 4, QT
