'The Norwegian Connection', newspaper feature part 2

Second of two features from a local newspaper on the long-standing links between Norway and Dumfries.   The first article details the story of the Norwegian Kristian Jahr, who made his home in Dumfries during the war, after arriving here in May 1940 from Capetown, where he was in the Guards. The second article is about football and how it has provided a bond between Norway and Dumfries since 1940.   Also featured is a photograph of a Norwegian wedding at St Michael's Church, Dumfries.
