Cambusdoon Cross

This Early Christian sandstone cross was found by pupils of Cambusdoon School close to Kirk Alloway in 1928. Two pieces were found but the lower part is now lost. The stone has an inscribed cross with rounded ends, within a circle. The stone is now on loan to Alloway Parish Church, where it is on display.
